Dubai Metro, the longest automated (driverless) metro network in the world, is the pride of Dubai.
Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) is the pioneer financial market of the region. The Emirate has a world renowned stock exchange - Dubai NASDAQ. Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry has introduced a “Global Innovation Index” in association with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PWC); and Dubai bagged the 15th position in the second edition of the survey. The economy of Dubai is a diversified one with low level of dependence on oil. The government of Dubai is determined to transform the city into a knowledge and technology based city.
